SUSTAINABILITY

For four generations, we have lived among the vineyards we cultivate, taking care of the environment that surrounds us. Sustainability is the cornerstone of every operation, in the vineyard and in the cellar: good practices enable us to preserve the viticultural heritage at the core of our excellence.

A CIRCULAR
ECONOMY

From the land to the cellar and from the cellar back to the land: Manfredi promotes sustainable winemaking practices through circular economy protocols for the recovery and intelligent disposal of production waste. Grape stems are transformed into eco-friendly bales and used as bedding for local cattle farms. Skins and grape pomace are provided to local cheese producers, where they are used for cheese aging.

MORE PHOTOVOLTAIC ENERGY,
LESS WASTE

For almost twenty years, the company's production facilities have hosted photovoltaic panels for the production of clean energy that fully meets the company's needs, further reducing our impact on the environment. Three-year protocols for waste reduction help us reduce waste and lessen our environmental impact.

We use lightweight bottles to reduce glass waste and cut down on CO2 emissions during transportation. All our cartons and labels are FSC certified, reflecting our stance on responsible forest management that considers the environment, social welfare, and economic efficiency.

TRUST IN SUSTAINABILITY

We work closely with all our suppliers, with whom we have built trust-based relationships for over 50 years.

Together, we decide on working methods and operations to carry out in the vineyard to minimize the use of treatments. We pay particular attention to the stages leading up to the harvest through analyses and grape ripening curves. Their vineyards are our vineyards, and we share the common goal of bringing the best possible fruit to the cellar, one that is at the peak of its expression.
